AN ABANDONED DEAD BODY
In a lonely quiet and overcast darkness
of the street. I was shocked by someone's greived voice , it was a strange anguish and distress in the
voice.
It seemed as if someone has chained
up my feet . This was a miserable that a very old woman laying
on the floor , among crawling insects and ants around her.
I called her many time , but no response back. Then I shook her foot , she
opened the eyes.
"Mom, Are you sick" I asked her.
"No son - I'm in pain because of fatigue" She replied
"Have you eaten something?" I asked - The answer was "No" -
After managing meals for her , I asked to know more . She took only a few
bites.
"Where are you from? where is your home?" I asked after she finish
eating.
"I have no home"
I felt that there is pain and complaint in her answer . Her tone was trembling
saying this. I was in opinion not to push her in more depression.
"Mom ! where do you like to go. I will manage the taxi for you" I
asked but she did not respond me Yes or No.
"Son! Mostly mothers looses their senses in this age , they become crazy .
Their kids gets annoyed from them . I am one of those mothers”
She screamed and started to cry.
"I'm a crazy mother. How long I will be alive more ? If they have a little
more patience to bear my crayness. I can die in peace”
“ The childern never think , that how they are grown up. No one can realise
the sacrifice a mother to grow up their children.” She cleaned her face with
the dirty cloth.
“ Mom! If you like to go with me , I will be much obliged for your
kindness. My mother has passed away , a year before. “
I was unable to hide my tears.
"No my son, I will feel more pain about behaviour of my own children when
staying with you. Now you go. You have to obey me like a nice son”
“ I will go in the dawn” She was not agree to move with me at any cost,
"Where will you go? “ I asked again.
“ I have a destination , I will go. You relax . I will go before the dusk “
Next morning , when I went to see here. She laying dead on the dirty wet
floor. There was no mother. There was AN ABANDONED DEAD BODY.
